Our programs help children build confidence and make new friends before the big school year begins.
Vacation Care at Ambrose is for children in school years K-6, and children from all faiths and schools are welcome to our services.
Our program is based on the "My Time Our Place" framework - which is focusses on children's interests and ensures we provide a program they love.
Activities include, excursions (where we go out into the community), workshops (where a special activity comes to us), games, sport, craft and much more.

Ranger Jamie Fun Day Finishes the Year in Style! On Wednesday, our students in Kindy to Year 5 were treated to a fun day run by Ranger Jamie Tours. Students participated in a range of activities that were challenging in nature. They employed creativity, collaboration and team work to succeed in each of the tasks all the while having a great time with their friends. They participated in a water relay, paper rocket building (and launching), chemical rockets, a Ninja obstacle course and even rode some self-propelled billy carts. The joy in the students faces said it all.

Farewell Mrs Wacher! Yesterday we had the opportunity as a school community to farewell the wonderful Mrs Wacher. In Term 3, Mrs Wacher decided it was time to retire. In doing so she ends a 20 year career in the office here at STA. We wish Mrs Wacher all the best in her next phase of life and we graciously thank her for her service of the STA community. Congratulations and good luck!

A great annual competition for all the ages and every year the skill from our juniors keeps getting better! Well done to our winners.ππππππππππππππππ

Awards, Awards more awards! Last Friday we had another opportunity to acknowledge some wonderful students and their fantastic achievements from the year past. New Furniture and Equipment Gets the Tick of Approval! Over the past week and a bit we have had some amazing new furniture and equipment delivered. It will be a welcome addition to the already stocked inquiry hub. Yesterday, some students were given the first opportunity to test out the new gear. The new furniture will be used for collaborative learning and STEM learning and will be available for all grades to use.

In Year 4, students worked in groups to design space prototypes that addressed different challenges astronauts face in space. Each group chose a specific problem and created a solution to improve astronauts' comfort and well-being using online 3D programs. The project encouraged creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Year 6 Perpetual Awards 2024 In addition to the class awards handed out on Thursday, so to were the Year 6 major perpetual awards. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously contributed to the Christmas Hampers! We are thrilled to share that we successfully created 31 hampers, along with extra items that will ensure everyone receives additional treats and support this Christmas season. These hampers have now been handed over to the St Vincent de Paul Society for distribution, spreading joy to those in need this Christmas. A special thanks to our incredible Faith in Action students, who selflessly dedicated their lunch times to organise and prepare the hampers for our community. Their efforts truly embody the spirit of giving and service.

Christmas Concert Wows Once Again! Last night saw STA host our annual Christmas Concert. It was amazing. The students, lead by the wonderful Mrs Wills, sang and moved their little hearts out.
